Suzette Scott of the 40 block of Magpie Lane reported at 1:57 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, that a custom-made wig had been stolen from her residence sometime between 12 a.m. Sept. 18 and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 19.

Dakota L. Goarcke, 27, of Fort Worth, Missouri, was booked Wednesday, Sept. 22, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of possession of marijuana.

Shaun M. Hall, 35, of the 400 block of County Road 468 was booked Wednesday, Sept. 22, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of peace disturbance.

Lyla N. Hunt, 23, of the 1500 block of Wilson was booked Wednesday, Sept. 22, at the Butler County jail on a warrant for passing a bad check. She later was released.

Justin L. Russell, 31, of Harviell was booked Wednesday, Sept. 22, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of third-degree assault and second-degree property damage.

POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT

Firefighters responded to a report at 6:33 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, of someone siphoning gasoline with a Shop-Vac in the area of 635 W. Victor St. In conjunction with the Poplar Bluff Police Department, it was investigation only.

Firefighters responded to a call at 3:49 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, of smoke in the building at Northwest Medical Center, 2210 Barron Road. It was determined maintenance crews had performed smoke testing of the storm drains in the area.

Firefighters responded to an alarm at 1:02 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Kneibert Clinic, 686 Lester Street. A bathroom exhaust fan had caught fire before falling and striking a toilet paper roll and soap dispenser, catching them on fire. Employees used a fire extinguisher prior to firefighters arrival, but firefighters used one gallon of water to finish putting out the fire.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Elizabeth A. Wildhaber, 37, of the 500 block of Lester Street was arrested at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, on South E Street on a Jefferson County warrant for non-support, a Poplar Bluff failure to appear warrant for trespass and on suspicion of possession of amphetamine. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Ruby S. James, 48, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 22, in Butler County on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
