Betty J. McAnulty, 90, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021. She was born in Morehouse, Missouri on Aug. 19, 1931 to the late Thomas G. Neal and Rosetta C. (Wilson) Neal. She was of the Assembly of God faith. She married Carroll Wayne McAnulty on Nov. ...

Betty J. McAnulty, 90, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021. She was born in Morehouse, Missouri on Aug. 19, 1931 to the late Thomas G. Neal and Rosetta C. (Wilson) Neal. She was of the Assembly of God faith.

She married Carroll Wayne McAnulty on Nov. 21, 1948 in Poplar Bluff. From this union, three children were born. She served many years as a pastor’s wife and led the Women’s Ministry. She was very talented in piano, organ and maker of quilts, an avid reader of fiction and loved her family dearly.

Betty is survived by two sons, Jerry N. McAnulty of White House, Tndiana and Kevin D. McAnulty of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, J. Carol Gray of Poplar Bluff; one brother, D.L. Neal and nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; three brothers, Thomas Harold Neal, Clarence Neal and Kenneth Neal and two sisters, Dorothy McAnulty and Elsie Kirkman.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24, 2021 at Heartland Christian Family Church of Poplar Bluff. Rev. Kevin McAnulty will be officiating.
