Wade T. James Slavings of the 500 block of Don reported at 9:57 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, that two bicycles had been stolen from beside his shed sometime overnight Sept. 9 and Sept. 10.

Krystal L. Wisdom, 29, no address listed, was arrested at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at 301 S. Fifth Street on a warrant for larceny. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Liam S. Wallis, 25, of the 2000 block of Tennessee was arrested at 5:45 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, at his home on suspicion of abuse or neglect of a child. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Nathan W. Jones, 25, no address listed, was arrested at 7:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, at 639 S. Westwood Blvd. on a warrant for first-degree burglary. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Eldon G. Osborn, 33, who listed Henderson Street and Lester Street addresses, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, on Arthur Street on warrants for a parole violation and peace disturbance. He was released to medical staff for evaluation.

Daniel T. White, 18, of the 200 block of Plum was booked Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Butler County jail on suspicion of resisting arrest.

BUTLER COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT

County firefighters responded to a call at 1:18 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, of a structure fire on County Road 6011. The home, owned by Jonah Emmons, was fully involved when they arrived and was a total loss. A car and truck also were burned.

County firefighters responded to a call at 4:26 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, of a carbon monoxide detector sounding at 191 Alenah Lane. Nothing was found.

County firefighters responded to a call of a structure fire at 8:10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at the 3078 County Road 255 home of Walter Painter. The shop building and a car were a total loss.

County firefighters responded to a call at 11:27 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, at 487 Horseshoe Lane to assist Medic One with lifting a patient.

Tonya L. Vanover, 42, of Puxico was arrested at 10:14 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, in Butler County on suspicion of DWI and speeding. She was released.

Kaleb T. Chadwick, 20, of Farmington was arrested at 12:55 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, in Wayne County on suspicion of misdemeanor resisting arrest by fleeing, minor visibly intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, no seat belt and failure to display valid plates. He was released.

Wade L. Hefner, 55, of Wappapello was arrested at 8:59 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 11, in Shannon County on suspicion of DWI and careless and imprudent driving involving a motor vehicle crash. He was released.

A 33-year-old man sustained minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident at 6:40 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 12, on U.S. Highway 60, one mile east of Fisk.

According to the report, Billy R. Forester, 33, was operating a 2007 Chevrolet Impala eastbound when it ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch.

Forester was taken by EMS to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

A 44-year-old woman sustained moderate injuries in a two-vehicle crash at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 13, on Highway J, five miles north of Gideon. According, Carroll L. Randolph, 79, of Dexter was operating a 2019 Dodge Ram southbound when it slowed to make a left turn and was struck in the side by a southbound 2017 Kia Sportage operated by Christy L. Anderson, 44, of Malden. Anderson was taken to Southeast Health Center in Dexter.
