NEELYVILLE, Mo. — Roy Harold Eakins, 81, of Piedmont, Missouri, passed away at his residence, Aug.18, 2021.
He was born Nov.30, 1939 to the late Leslie James Eakins and Etta Mae Gray at Bulter County, Missouri.
On Nov. 30, 1974 He was married to Debbra Lee Wagner at Oxly, Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving his children: Roy Harold Eakins Jr. and wife Debby, Von James Eakins and wife Annette; stepson, Alfred Leonard Garrett and Christopher Dale Eakins; grandchildren: Jesse Murdock, Andrew Eakins, Samantha Carlton, Cody Eakins, Cory Eakins, Silas Eakins and Tamarie Eakins; great-grandchildren: Aubrey Dickens, Bentley Murdock, Carson Murdock, Greyson Carlton, and Kinsley Carlton.
He preceded in death by his first wife, Sandy French; parents as well as one sister, Margaret Lee Eakins Owen; and three brothers; Thomas Wade Eakins, Louis Arther Eakins, and Kenneth Leslie Eakins.
Mr. Eakins served in the United States Army and was a member of the 6516 VFW Post, American Legion and Eagles.
He is a retired auto manufacturer and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing pool, gardening, car painting and car body work.
Visitation for Mr. Eakins will start at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 2021, with the funeral following at 1 p.m. all in the Fowler and Sons Funeral Home of Neelyville, Missouri. Burial will be in the Kinsey Cemetery.
