Shirley Ann Lewis Brown 76, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri departed this life Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center. Shirley Ann Lewis Brown 76, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri departed this life Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.

Shirley Ann was born Nov. 5, 1944 in Poplar Bluff to Robert and Annie Mae Allen Lewis. She was the youngest of four children. She attended the Wheatley High School in Poplar Bluff.

Shirley Ann accepted Christ at an early age. She worked at Whispering Oaks as a Caregiver and Medical Tech. She enjoyed watching westerns, spending time with her children, grandchildren, and dog Casey.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two sons, Kevin “Donnie” Grant and Ronnie “Boo” Grant (Donna), and one daughter, Sherra “Missy” Grant (Eddie), all of Poplar Bluff; one sister-in-law, Ann Barnes of Little Rock, Arkansas; seven grandchildren; Natasia White, Dustin Burrgae, Mark Benton, and Monte Grant, all of Poplar Bluff, Ronnie Grant Jr. of St. Joseph, Missouri, D’ontre Nelson of Jefferson City, Missouri, and Breonna Grant of Nashville, Tennessee; 13 great-grandchildren, Tray Wallace-Jones, Dekory Jones, Amare White, Trynitee Watkins, Harmonee White, La’Javious Burrage Zaylee Smith, Zayne Benton, Ta’Shiya Ewing, Keira Thomas, Reminyss Grant, Ronnie Grant III, Prynce Grant, and Reakwon Grant; three nieces, Kimberly Hyman (Reginald) Little Rock, Arkansas, Stephanie Barnes of Memphis, Tennessee and Crystal Jones of Copperas Cove, Texas; special friends, Dorothy Lee and Shirley Craig; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Shirley Ann was preceded in death by both of her parents, Robert Lewis and Annie Mae Allen Lewis; one, Sister Ollie V. Kenney; two brothers, Jimmy Van Lewis and Lewis S. Barnes; two grandsons, Christopher Lionel Jones and Darren Lavar Williams.

Visitation will be from noon -1 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
