Corey L. Bertram, 45, of the 600 block of County Road 468 was arrested on a parole violation and several failure to appear warrants at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, at 1919 S. Westwood Blvd. He was booked into the Butler County jail.

Jinny Lynn Camp, 35, of Poplar Bluff was arrested on a probation and parole warrant at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, at 1441 Black River Industrial Road. She was booked into the Butler County jail.

Matthew Wayne Lowry, 35, of Affton, Missouri, was arrested at 8.50 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, in the 300 block of Bartlett St. This was the third time since Aug. 4 he was arrested for violating an order of protection and booked into the Butler County jail.
POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT
Firefighters responded to Fresenius Medical Care, 3050 Tucker Road, shortly after midnight Wednesday, Aug. 18. When crews arrived on the scene, there was no smoke or trouble. A key holder responded and a faulty smoke detector was found in a utility room. The alarm system was reset before firefighters cleared the scene.
