The Vanity Lounge Hair Salon welcomes Autumn Wawak as a new stylist.
Wawak has been a stylist for 13 years. She is also an instructor at the Black River Beauty Academy.
“I really enjoy teaching students to do new hairstyles,” Wawak said.
As a teenager, Wawak says she knew what her career would be. In high school, she was always braiding other girl’s hair.
The Vanity Lounge is located at 2480 Three Rivers Blvd., in Poplar Bluff. Their hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Friday; and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. They are closed on Mondays. For more information, call 573 840-5595.
