When Elless arrived, he said he observed Matlock sitting in a chair on the front porch of the residence. Matlock allegedly said he kicked the door of the residence and also reportedly admitted to being there in violation of the order of protection. Elless then arrested Matlock and also allegedly found a glass or rubber pipe on Matlock’s person.

Witnesses reported Matlock kicked in the door and entered the home, which had children inside. Officers were told Matlock exited the home when he realized the occupants were calling police.

Matlock had been served an order of protection on July 12, which forbade him from communication with the resident.

Matlock is being held at the Butler County jail on $60,000 bond. He was slated to make his initial court appearance Thursday morning.
