Owen Lee Little, 83 of Corning, Arkansas, went to be with his savior on July 18, 2021 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Mr. Little was born in Campbell, Missouri, on August 17, 1937 the son of the late William Dillon and Jessie Lena (Hubble) Little. He loved fishing, gardening and his family, but his passion in life was serving God and leading others to Christ. He was a Baptist minister for over 50 years and was currently ministering at Blooming Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Rector.
On November 1, 1956 he was united in marriage to Imogene Phyllis Ray. To this union, six children were born. They lived a happy and adventurous life until her passing on May 08, 2004.
On June 10, 2005, he married Virginia (Roofe-Hayes) Little. She survives.
Other survivors include his children, Gary Lynn and (Debbie) Little of Tangent, Oregon, Owen Randall and (Janie) Little of Sweet Home, Oregon, Robin Lee and (Michelle) Little of Green Brier, Sonya Kay and Doyle Clifton Henderson, Texas, Michelle Marie and (Kenny) Jones of Purdy, Missouri; brother, Jerry Little of McDougal; sisters, Linda Nossett of Corning and Janie Craft of Qulin, Missouri; stepdaughter, Rhonda and (Wally) Williams of Lake Charles; twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents and first wife, he was also preceded in death by his daughter,Tamara Renae Oviatt; brothers, Lonnie, Johnny, Joseph, Billy, Jackie, Marshall and Jimmy Little; and sisters, Birdie Mae Swindle, Mary Husky, Alice Matthews and twin Imogene Burns.
Family requests masks be worn by all in attendance during visitation and service.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on August 6, 2021 at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Leon Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal.
