The Mules Booster Club named Kennedy Rowland and Alex Wiseman of Poplar Bluff High School the May Athletes of the Month. Kennedy, an incoming senior who runs track, was a state qualifier in two relays, earned all-district and was all-conference honors. Alex, an incoming senior who serves as captain of the golf team, earned all-state, all-district and all-conference honors in May and was medalist in two tournaments. He placed seventh at state, and tied for ninth in the Tom Hoover Ozark Invitational. Presenting the awards to Wiseman and Rowland is Booster Club Treasurer David Rowland.
