FISK, Mo. — Mary Louise Lack, 89, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, peacefully departed this life surrounded by family, on Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at her residence in Poplar Bluff.
Mrs. Lack was born May 10, 1932, in Dudley, Missouri, daughter of the late Rev. Dudley Dupree and Lela Maude Chapman. Mary was a very special lady with many talents and hobbies, including home interior, floral arrangements, and doll collecting. She was also a talented seamstress and loved traveling. She was very creative and classy, and her home was a testament to that.
She was of the Pentecostal faith and was very diligent about church attendance for herself and her family.
On Aug. 21, 1950 she married Ethridge Lack. He preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 2004.
She is survived by three children: James (Barbara) Lack, of Scott City, Missouri, Linda “Susie” (Mack) Null, of Dexter, Missouri, and Cheryl (Dale) Hartline, of Texas; one sister: Mabel Henson, of Dudley, Missouri; seven grandchildren; many great and great-great grandchildren, and a special friend: Leroy Whitesell.
She was also preceded in death by one sister: Naomi Ruth Adams; one grandchild: Amy Louise Suarez; and one great-grandchild: Hattie Louise Lack.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Fred Wilson officiating. Burial will be at the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri.
