Norman Lee Richardson, 74, of Poplar Bluff passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Norman was born May 28, 1947, to Oral and Bessie Richardson in Doniphan, Missouri. He and Betty Ann Robinson were married June 5, 1971. She passed away September 13, 2008.
Norman was inducted into the United States Army on November 15, 1967 and was honorably discharged on November 14, 1969. He was formerly in the Missouri National Guard Reserves for many years.
Norman enjoyed woodworking, reading, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include three children, Patricia (Jose) Oyola of Chesapeake, Virginia, Deborah (Steven) Peirce of Suffolk, Virginia and Lonnie (Pat) Engler of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremiah, Samantha and Natalia; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Lavetta Burch of Oxly, Missouri.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Rudy Richardson, Deloid Richardson and Leon Richardson.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 13 from 11 a.m. until time of service at Cotrell Funeral Service. Funeral service will be at noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
