Steven and Joie Proffer of Poplar Bluff announce the engagement of their daughter Erin Leslie Proffer and Jon Risinger, both of Poplar Bluff.
The couple will be married at 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, at Sacred Heart Church in Poplar Bluff.
Risinger’s parents are Vivian and Bill Brent of Lakeland, Florida, and David Risinger of Poplar Bluff.
Proffer is a 1994 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. She has an associate of arts degree from Three Rivers College, as well as a bachelor of general studies degree and an administrative assistant degree from Southeast Missouri State University.
Risinger is a 1993 graduate of Poplar Bluff High School. He has an associate of arts degree from Three Rivers College and bachelor’s degree in biological engineering and a master’s degree in hydraulic resources, both from Louisiana State University.
