Tressie Moore, 81, of Neelyville, Missouri, passed away June 29, 2021 at home.
Mrs. Moore was born April 24, 1940 in Corning. She was a homemaker and farmer’s wife. She enjoyed gardening, going to church, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Apostolic United Pentecostal Church in Corning.
On July 15, 1957, she married Leon Moore. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2015.
Survivors include her sons, Kevin and Danny Moore, both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; brother, Lonnie Nelson of Little Rock; sister, Esther Taylor of Perryville; grandchildren, Eric and Misty Moore and great-grandchildren, Kyleigh and Ava.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her sons, Johnny and Ronnie Moore; parents, Sam and Dorothy (Donaldson) Nelson; brothers, Ralph and Howard Nelson and Hollis Dockins and sisters, Madeline Boshears and Mary James.
Visitation will be held Thursday at Ermert Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Troy Johnson and Rev. Chris Dixon officiating. Burial will be at Hitt Cemetery in Success.
