Barry Lee Johnson, 69, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri passed away May 24, 2021 in Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
He was born February 24, 1952 at El Paso, Texas to Woodrow Johnson and Mary ‘Aden’ Wilburn.
He is survived by one daughter, Heather Orr and husband, Morris of Heber Springs, Arkansas; his mother, Mary Wilburn; two sisters, Penny Fowler Hopwood and Mary Dollins, as well as two brothers, Chuck Johnson and Woody Johnson. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Dalton Garret and Hunter and Eva Orr, as well as one great-grandson, Ridge Garrett.
He is preceded in death by his father, two sisters, Vivian Sue Summers and Carla Hudson.
Barry had worked for the Union Pacific Railroad and had served in the National Guard and was a member of the American Legion at Naylor. He enjoyed fishing, reading westerns, facebook and enjoyed his grandchildren and coaching softball on his daughter’s team.
There will be a celebration of life Thursday, May 27 starting at 4 p.m. till 6 p.m. at the Wilburn family Farm.
