Larry Wayne Clyburn, Jr. son of Larry Clyburn, Sr. and Betty ‘Jean’ (Brown) Clyburn was born April 20, 1976 in Twentynine Palms, California and departed this life on April 16, 2021 in Ellsinore, Missouri. He had attained the age of forty-four years, eleven months and twenty-six days.

Larry always called Poplar Bluff home and returned after retirement from the Air Force. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for eighteen years. He worked as the MSA Supervisor for the Veterans Affair in Poplar Bluff. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed being outdoors, cooking, hunting, camping, four-wheel riding, playing video games and working on vehicles. Larry was strong willed, friendly, very caring, outgoing, compassionate towards others, a great husband, father, son and brother and was loved by all that knew him.

On June 29, 2019 he was united in marriage to Amy Welch in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.

Larry is survived by his parents, Larry and ‘Jean’ Clyburn of Ellsinore; his wife, Amy Clyburn of Poplar Bluff; four children, Alyson Clyburn of Little Rock, Arkansas; Nicholas Clyburn, Emaly Clyburn and A.J. Clyburn all of Poplar Bluff; three stepchildren, Heather West-McWhorter (Tim), Shane West (Karissa) and Aiden Welch all of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Mindy Walker (Mike Massie) of Van Buren, Missouri; three nieces, Kourtney Walker, Kyrsten Walker and Kyndra Walker, one nephew, Karson Massie, one stepgrandchild, Memphis and one stepgrandchild on the way and many family and friends who mourn his passing.

Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard O. and Zelma Brown and Rickard and Bonnie Clyburn.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 21 at 11 a.m. in the McSpadden Funeral Home in Ellsinore with the funeral services following at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Rev. Scott Reynolds will be officiating. Burial will be in the Carson Hill Cemetery in Ellsinore.
