City firefighters responded at 10:21 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, to a report of an alarm at 601 N. Westwood. According to the report, it was an accidental activation of the alarm while servicing.

City firefighters responded at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, April 14, to a report of a trash fire in the vicinity of B Street and Gum. According to the report, firefighters discovered a small trash fire in the alley behind 400 N. Gum St. Firefighters extinguished the fire using 50 gallons of water and cleared the scene.

City firefighters responded at 12:16 a.m. Thursday, April 15, to a report of a motor vehicle accident with possible fire at 815 Cole Ave. According to the report, firefighters found no fire and the occupant was outside of the vehicle. EMS crews arrived, examined the occupant and found the individual had no injuries. Municipal Utilities arrived to assess damage to electrical pole. Once vehicle was removed and firefighters cleared the scene.
