A vehicle ran off the roadway and struck a utility poll at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 23, on Missouri Highway 142, one mile west of Oxly in Ripley County.
According to the report, Larry A. Crider, 43, of Poplar Bluff was driving eastbound when he drove his 1990 Chevrolet Silverado off the roadway and struck a utility pole.
Crider was transported by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with serious injuries. The car was reported totalled.
