Poplar Bluff City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Monday in the council chambers, 301 S. Fifth St.

Workshop items for discussion will include:

• Request for a Downtown Poplar Bluff Entertainment District open cup ordinance;

• Recommendation from the Municipal Utilities Advisory Board regarding the annual net metering disclosure;

• Lease agreement between the Poplar Bluff Parks and Recreation and De Lage Landen Public Finance LLC for 50 golf carts;

• Amendment regarding animal control fees and licensing;

• Recommendation from the Historical Preservation Commission for placement of a historical monument on city-owned property located at 303 Moran St.

Action Required Items:

• Agreement with S.H. Smith and Company Engineers Inc. for construction observation services for the reconstruction of the airport runway.

• Request for qualifications for materials testing and special inspections for the police department facility construction project.

• Lease agreement for golf carts.

The council will meet in a closed meeting in which they will discuss such matters which are exempted under the open meetings law.

Poplar Bluff Municipal Library District board of trustees will meet at 4 p.m. Monday for a remote online meeting via Zoom platform due to COVID-19.

Municipal Utilities Advisory Board will meet at 3 p.m. Monday at 1902 Sunset Drive.

__DPB__

Downtown Poplar Bluff, Inc. will meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the city council chambers.

__Electrical board__

The Poplar Bluff Electrical Board will meet at 5 p.m. Thursday in the city council chambers.

New business will include a request to put master electrical licenses in escrow for Joe Patterson, Matthew Kahrhoff, Jason England, Tim Berry and Herbert Holsapple; and journeyman electrical licenses in escrow for S. Jason Montague and Dennis Priest.

Under unfinished business, the board will discuss the city requirement for the service main to have an exterior mounted main disconnect on all commercial properties.

The group will discuss state license requirements.
