DONIPHAN — Melody Ann Leroux, 62-year-old resident of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021. She was born April 17, 1958, in Woodriver, Illinois, to the late James Wesley and Joan Louise (Bricker) Beckwith.
Melody attended West Point United Pentecostal Church. She loved her church and church family. She also treasured her family, including her dog, Mazi. Melody enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, camping and going on rides in their side-by-side. She loved the outdoors and flower gardening. Melody was talented in interior design, decorating and crafts. She enjoyed finding bargains and browsing flea markets for treasures.
On Jan. 25, 1975, Melody married John Leroux in Doniphan. He survives. Also surviving are their three children, Mandy Leroux, Wesley (Amanda) Leroux and Stephanie (Corey) Meyers, all of Doniphan; her sister, Lola Diane (Mitch) Beckwith of Fairdealing, Missouri; brothers, Dwade (Tammy) Beckwith, of Doniphan, Rob (Lisa) Beckwith of Scott, Arkansas, Danny (Laurie) Beckwith of Cabot, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Brooke, Lacey, Lila, Weston, Madi, Cailyn, Jackson, Ashton, Kaylee and Kelsey; and her great-grandchild, Coe.
Melody was preceded in death by her sister, Jeanie Renee Sheppard, and her brother, James Wesley Beckwith.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2021. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021. Both will be at West Point Church with Pastor Chuck Carr officiating. Burial will be in Hunt-White Memorial Gardens.
