The Neelyville R-IV School Board race is now contested with three candidates vying for two seats.
Candidates can file until Tuesday for the April 6 school and municipal election.
There are two seats open at Neelyville, which are currently held by Gene Russom and Jim Hover.
Hover has filed for re-election.
Newcomers Ashley Taylor and Travis Aaron Russom filed this week.
School board positions are three-year terms and the board meets about once a month, but may call a special session for a specific reason.
Those interested can file at the Central Office, at 289 Broadway St. in Neelyville. Normal work hours are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays, but the office will be open until 5 p.m. on Jan. 19.
