Jason Lee Parris, 45, of Harviell passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2021. He was born in Belleville, Illinois to Ruth (Rosamond) Parris and the late Joel Parris Sr.
He was a longtime resident of Grandin, Missouri.
He enjoyed bowling a few frames and fishing for the big one. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
Jason is survived by his mother, Ruth McNeely (Larry) of Bradenton, Florida; his wife, Jamie Parris; three daughters, Megan Fisher of Paragould, Arkansas, Jana Gean (Andrew) of Blytheville, Arkansas and Kali Owen (Mitchell) of Ellsinore; one brother, Joel Parris Jr. of Poplar Bluff; one sister, Tammy Evans (Tony) of Pikeville, North Carolina; and three grandchildren, Ruby Misouria of Paragould, and Bentley and Ivy Owen of Ellsinore.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial services are scheduled for Friday, Jan. 15, 2021 in the Heartland Family Christian Center, starting with visitation at 6 p.m. with service to follow at 7 p.m. Pastor Kevin McAnulty will be the officiant for the service. Masks and social distancing are recommended.
