Four area residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:20 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, on U.S. 60 in Fisk.
According to the report, Edward A. Wells, 46, of Poplar Bluff was operating a 2010 Dodge Journey northbound when he failed to yield, and his SUV was struck by a 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis being driven eastbound by Rosie M. Benefield, 66, of Dexter.
Wells’ passengers, a 9-year-old female and a 13-year-old female, both of Fisk, suffered minor injuries and were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Benefield suffered minor injuries, while her 43-year-old passenger, Joshua C. Benefield of Dexter, suffered moderate injuries. The Benefields were taken to the Poplar Bluff hospital for treatment.

A 33-year-old Dexter woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:28 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, on Highway T, three miles north of Poplar Bluff.
According to the report, Jamie L. Ketcherside was operating a 2013 Chevrolet Impala northbound when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree.
Ketcherside suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 77-year-old Doniphan woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:45 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, on Highway 21 at U.S. 160, two miles east of Doniphan.
According to the report, Charles R. Gambling, 49, of Doniphan was operating a 2007 Ford Escape southbound when it struck the rear of a 2007 Chevrolet HHR being operated by Opal V. Starkey.
Starkey suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 22-year-old Parma man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, on Highway D, seven miles south of Dexter.
According to the report, Jose A. Leal was operating a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe westbound when it ran off the road and overturned.
Leal suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County at Dexter for treatment.

Charles J. Southard, 39, of Bernie was arrested at 11:11 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4, on suspicion of possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to drive on the right half of the road, no insurance and displayed plates of another. He was booked at the Dunklin County jail.

Billy K. Hardin, 35, of Malden was arrested at 9:54 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, on a warrant for probation violation, a Butler County warrant for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and on suspicion of failure to register a motor vehicle, no insurance and failure to yield to emergency vehicle. He was booked at the Scott County Jail.

Alfronso I. Obregon, 54, of Piedmont was arrested at 8:25 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, on suspicion of DWI, careless and imprudent driving resulting in a crash, no valid operator’s license and no seat belt. He was booked at the Wayne County Jail and released.

Michael Lee Dixon, 42, of Joplin was booked at the Butler County jail Tuesday, Jan. 5, on a failure to appear wararnt for stealing leased or rented property.

Jeri Lee Taylor, 34, of the 5000 block of Nellie Sue Circle was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, Jan. 4, on warrant for assault. She was released on bond.

Brenden Dale Newcomb of Neelyville reported his vehicle was entered while it was parked at a location in the 10000 block of Highway C between 1 and 3 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 3.
According to the report, a Mossberg 12-gauge shotgun was stolen from his vehicle.

Nicholas Migael Anderson, 30, of the 700 block of Mary Street was arrested at 9:18 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4, at his residence on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
