PUXICO, Mo. — Edna Deloris (Lois) Allen of Puxico, Missouri, daughter of the late Levi and Orpha Dunn, was born in Acorn Ridge, Missouri Sept. 23, 1934, and passed away in her home in Puxico, at the age of 86 years.
Lois has lived in Puxico all of her life. She was a faithful member of Corinth General Baptist Church for many years. She enjoyed Bible study, quilting, embroidery, crocheting, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.
On March 10, 1951 Lois was married to Elmer Allen. He preceded her in death Dec. 17, 2020.
Surviving are two sons, Darrel (Judy) Allen of Bloomfield, Steve (Lori) Allen of Puxico; one daughter, Nancy (Kent) Bridges of Puxico; one brother, Elmer (Doc) Dunn; two sisters, Lillie Kathleen (Kate) Moore of Maryville, Illinois. and Nina Limbaugh of Edwardsville, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Orpha Dunn.
Lois is survived by a host of family and friends.
Family and friends may visit from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020 at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico. Funeral Services are at 1 p.m. with Rev. Jim Clark of Puxico officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Puxico Cemetery in Puxico with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service in charge of all arrangements.
