Rickey J. Tropf Jr., 39, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 11:05 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, on a Butler County warrant for stealing and suspicion of possession of fewer than 10 grams of marijuana, resisting arrest and no seat belt. He was booked at the Ripley County Sheriff’s Department and transferred to the Butler County jail.

Don A. Clement, 73, of Van Buren was arrested at 9:46 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, in Carter County on suspicion of DWI, failure to signal and no valid license. He was released to medical personnel.

A 32-year-old Barnhart man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, on Highway 67, 10 miles south of Poplar Bluff.
According to the report, Joseph L. Stawicki was operating a 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound when it ran off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole.
Stawicki suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 29-year-old Williamsville man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 5:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 17, on Highway WW, eight miles southeast of Puxico.
According to the report, Derek A. Huggins was operating a 2012 Fiat southbound when it ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree and overturned.
Huggins suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County at Dexter for treatment.

Joshua B. Lawson of the 800 block of Wilcox Road reported Thursday, Dec. 17, that a Christensen Arms rifle with several attachments, including a bipod, scope and sling, was stolen from his truck between Nov. 25 and Dec. 4.
