MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

A 17-year-old Poplar Bluff resident was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 6:48 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, on Woodland Meadows Drive, one mile west of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, Kristen D. Laird was operating a 20111 Chevrolet HHR when it ran off the left side of the road, struck a culvert and overturned.

Laird suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 19-year-old Van Buren resident was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 4:10 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, on County Road 315, 10 miles east of Van Buren.

According to the report, Tabitha G. Meade, 44, of Ellsinore was operating a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix southbound when it struck a northbound 1994 Chevrolet pickup head on.

The other driver, Eddie W. Duncan, 72, of Van Buren, was not injured, but his passenger, Tristan J. Keeney, suffered minor injuries. Keeney was taken by private vehicle to Big Spring Medical for treatment.

Seth Jaxon James Pruett, 17, of Wappapello was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, Dec. 12, on a warrant for second-degree burglary.

Alicia Nicole Ross, 33, of Qulin was booked at the Butler County jail Sunday, Dec. 13, on suspicion of third-degree domestic assault. She later was released.

Dylan James Stewart, 20, of the 4800 block of Highway M was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, Dec. 12, on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic assault and peace disturbance. He later was released.

Brandon Allan Sullivan, 18, of the 600 block of D Street was booked at the Butler County jail Sunday, Dec. 13, on a failure to appear warrant for first-degree trespassing and a warrant for resisting arrest.

Demaio Lamont Williams, 27, of the 700 block of D Street was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, Dec. 12, on suspicion of unlawful possession of a firearm. He later was released.

A 16-year-old Poplar Bluff resident was treated and released from Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center after he was bitten by a dog on Wednesday, Dec. 9.

According to the report, John A McGee of the 700 block of Dewey Street was walking with his girlfriend and her dog on Kyem Circle at Neelyville when another dog began acting aggressive as they walked by.

The other dog allegedly began jumping against its chain and after breaking loose, began fighting with the dog belonging to McGee’s girlfriend.

McGee reportedly was bitten on his left index finger as he attempted to break up the fight between the dogs.

Deputies responded at about 5:05 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, to an alarm at Clubb 67 in the 21500 block of Highway 67 South at Neelyville.

According to the report, a window was found shattered, but no one was inside. Two video slot machines reportedly were forced open, but nothing was missing according to owner, Sharon Kassen.

Trina Marie Beatty, 30, of the 1600 block of West Spring Street was arrested at 11:32 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, in the 700 block of North Westwood Boulevard on a Butler County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Larry Dean Justice, 62, who listed Williamsville/Poplar Bluff addresses, was arrested at 2:11 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, on Hazel Street on a Butler County warrant for fraud/insufficient funds. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Justin Wayne Crouch, 19, of the 1000 block of East Outer Road was arrested at 4:01 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, in the 3100 block of Oak Grove Road on a municipal failure to appear warrant for property damage and on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and minor in possession of tobacco/nicotine/vape device. He was booked at the Butler County jail and released on bond.

Melissa Mayo, 36, of the 700 block of North Riverview Drive was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, at the police station on a municipal failure to appear warrant. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Gunner Anthony Davidson, 21, of the 1800 block of North 14th Street was arrested at 2:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at his residence on a municipal failure to appear warrant for larceny. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Van Veckhoven reported a loading dock plate was stolen from the U.S. Post Office in the 400 block of Poplar Street between Thursday, Dec. 10, and Friday, Dec. 11. The plate is described as being 5 feet long and 40 inches wide.

Charlotte M. Toben of the 300 block of County Road 472 reported Friday, Dec. 11, that she left her purse in the restroom at Ross Dress for Less and when she returned, it had not been turned in.

According to the report, her driver’s license, checkbook and money, as well as Social Security, debit and credit cards, were among the items in Toben’s purse.

DEXTER — Clayton Shell, 31, of Dexter was arrested at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, on suspicion of domestic assault. He was booked at the Dexter City Jail.

DEXTER — Jasper Cantrell, 46, of Dexter was arrested at 4:27 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, on a Dexter municipal failure to appear warrant and on another warrant. He was booked at the Dexter City Jail.

MALDEN — Penny Scott, 45, of Kennett was arrested Saturday, Dec. 12, on a Malden municipal warrant for contempt of court. She was booked at the Malden City Jail and released on bond.
