Lenard Hacker, 86, of Broseley, Missouri, died Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020 at Puxico Nursing and Rehab, in Puxico, Missouri.
Mr. Hacker was born Feb. 6, 1934 in Crab Orchard, Kentucky, son of the late Roy and Frieda Hacker. He worked for TOFC Trucking for 36 years in Chicago, Illinois. After retiring to Broseley in 1989, he drove the school bus for the Twin Rivers school district for several years.
Lenard loved spending time with his family and always worked hard for them. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and playing bingo.
On Oct. 15, 1955 he married Bernice Clark. She survives.
Also surviving are five children: Steven Hacker, Jana McMahon, and James Hacker, all of Broseley, and Wendy Wolchanski and Andrea Sykes, both of Fort Wayne, Indiana; three brothers: Ernie, Russel, and Joe Hinds; one sister: Katherine Whitaker; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13, 2020 at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Rev Jim Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery at Broseley, Missouri.
