John Minson

MARBLE HILL — John Minson, 59 of Advance, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2020, at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

He was born May 22, 1961 in Marble Hill, Missouri.

John was a God fearing, kind and gentle man. He loved playing music for the Lord which he loved, his family and life itself. He worked for Holden Pallet Company and was a member of the Advance Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include his girlfriend Joanna Painton, daughter Heather ( George) Durrow of Bloomfield, Missouri, brother Dennis Minson of Cascade, Missouri, grandson JT Hopkins, his nieces and nephews, Cassy Carl of Collinsville, Illinois, Todd Minson of Cacade, Joe Bryant of Cascade, Valerie Tooman Valazqueez of Poplar Bluff, Ray and Hannah Tooman of Advance, Rosalyn Speth of Cascade, Casey Tooman of Cascade, Jesse Tooman, Jessica Dickinson of Coldwater, Missouri, Tasha Holbrook of California, Sam Holbrook of Fredericktown, Missouri, Jay Rainwater of Williamsville Missouri, Tara Chang of Montana and his childhood best friend, Laniel Crutchfield and his wife Olivia of Missouri, and several great-nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his parents.

A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
