Marilee Phillips

Marilee Cowgill Phillips, 83, of Poplar Bluff died Monday, Dec.7, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Marilee was born on March 26, 1937 in Piggott, Arkansas, to the late Joseph and Leah (Watson) Cowgill. She loved reading, quilting and above all, she loved her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Denice Beach (Harold), Sheryl Ezell (Joseph Vesely), Gerald Lack; grandchildren, Justin Beach,

Marcia Beach, Nicholas Lack, Leah McCoy, Bobby Ezell; and two sisters, Wilidean Davis and Paulette Garrett (Bob).

Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter,Kelly Strader; a grandson, Christopher Ezell; two sisters, Sue Parks and Betty Jewell; and three brothers, David Jerome Cowgill, Larry Rue Cowgill and Paul Howard Cowgill.

The family is planning a burial at a later date. Fowler Sullivan Funeral Home of Poplar Bluff is in charge of arrangements.
