CORNING — Londa Kay Branum, 72, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Nov. 21, 2020, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Branum was born Jan. 20, 1948, in Success, Arkansas. She enjoyed writing poetry, reading the Bible, playing Jinko at the nursing home and spending time with family and friends. She attended Assembly of God in Corning when possible.
Survivors include her daughters Kimberly Kay Leach of Mountain View and Pamela Renee (John) Robertson of St. Louis, Missouri; brother William Thomas Cobb of Lafayette, Georgia; sister Vivian Owen of Poplar Bluff; and many cousins, nieces, nephews and great friends at Westwood Hills Health and Rehabilitation Center in Poplar Bluff.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Branum, Sr.; son Bobby Mark Leach; parents Clyde and Myrtle (Owens) Cobb; sisters Anna Bell Ainley, Magalean Wheetley, Ona Mae Pulliam; brothers Johnie, Leamon, Eugene, Jim, and Paul Cox, Chester and Lorn Cobb; several other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, 2020, at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Earl Ladyman officiating. Burial will be at Corning Cemetery.
