Celesta Minehart

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — Celesta Lucille Minehart, 76, of Russellville, Arkansas, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, 2020 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.

The daughter of Lester Russell Mattingly and Jeanette (Evans) Mattingly, she was born Jan. 5, 1944 in Poplar Bluff. She married Carl D. Minehart Sept. 6, 1963 at Poplar Bluff and worked for many years as a bank teller.

She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafting, and especially spending time with family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Carl Richard “Ricky” Minehart.

Survivors include her loving husband, of 57 years, Carl D. Minehart of Russellville; her son, Russell Minehart and wife Undine of Bellevue, Nebraska; her daughter, Amy Vickers of Dardanelle; six grandchildren, Brian Minehart, Kevin Minehart, Tyrus Chakine, Harley Sims, Guaner Sims, and Sarah Minehart; great-grandchild, Asher Johnson; and numerous extended family members and friends.
