Marilyn Harris

Marilyn Harris, 64, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri entered into rest Nov. 13, 2020 at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Marilyn was born March 13, 1956 to Samual and Jerline (Buchanan) Jones in Dexter, Missouri. She married Nathaniel Harris Nov. 26, 2000.

Marilyn liked to crochet, take care of others and fish. She went to beautician school, had worked at the forest service, and SEMORS Southeast Missouri Residential Services.

Marilyn is survived by spouse, Nathaniel Harris; daughter, Crystal Jones; son, Timothy Jones; grandchildren, Trenikia, Timothy, Katie, Tressa and Kendric Jones, Rashawn McCain, Timothee Williams, Miracle and Marquaya Chambers; great-grandchildren, Kerriyon West and Josyah Figures; and sister Beatrice Jones.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents.

Due to new guidelines at the funeral home, there will only be a 30 minute gathering for the viewing and the funeral service at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. This will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, 2020 in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Joe McClure officiating. Burial will follow in the City Cemetery.
