MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
Two Dexter women were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 3, on Highway 60 at Highway ZZ, one mile west of Dexter.
According to the report, Madeleine Y. Launius, 82, of Dexter was operating a 2013 Nissan Sentra eastbound when she failed to yield to a 2000 Chevrolet pickup being operated by Matthew S. Cook, 28, of Chaffee, and the vehicles collided in the intersection.
Launius’ car then allegedly ran off the right side of the road, while Cook’s truck was driven to what was described as a controlled stop.
Launius and her 27-year-old passenger, Chantel P. Billingsley, suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County at Dexter for treatment.

Jacob Tyler Bullock reported Monday, Nov. 2, that his sprayer had been entered while it was parked at Hopkin’s Seed and Chemicals in the 13100 block of Highway 53 at Qulin.
According to the report, the monitor, which runs the sprayer’s controls, and miscellaneous tools were stolen. The theft is believed to have occurred sometime since late August.
