Donald Doser of the 300 block of Highway N reported at 2:42 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, that his Polaris ATV, which had been parked in a field near his house, had been vandalized. According to the report, the gas cap and oil filler cap were missing, and other parts were damaged.

Joseph Holman of the 2700 block of Cravens Road reported at 10:46 a.m. Friday, Oct. 29, that his 1996 Dodge Ram pickup had been stolen from his residence sometime during the previous night. Holman reported the keys were left in the vehicle.

One person suffered minor injuries in an accident which occurred at 11:52 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, on Interstate 55 in Scott County. According to the report, Molly J. Murphy, 18, of Dexter was driving a 2018 Mazda MX5 northbound when she struck the rear of a 1997 Ford F800 driven by Dakota W. Jennings of Vandalia, Missouri. Murphy’s car went off the right side of the road, striking a guardrail. She was taken by private vehicle to SoutheastHEALTH in Dexter for treatment.

POPLAR BLUFF FIRE DEPARTMENT

City firefighters responded at 10:17 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, to a reported fire in the Marshall’s parking lot at 737 N. Westwood Blvd. Upon their arrival, firefighters found two campaign signs had been set on fire and used one gallon of water to put it out.

City firefighters responded at 3:56 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, to 301 E. Neat St. to assist emergency medical services personnel with loading a patient.

City firefighters responded at 12:06 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, to a report of a structure fire at 2946 Kanell Blvd. Upon their arrival, it was determined to be a small unauthorized burn, and firefighters used five gallons of water to put out the fire.
