FISK, Mo. — Wyona Alma Tolbert-Snider of rural Poplar Bluff, daughter of the late Orbe and Minnie Malone Tolbert, was born near Bloomfield, Missouri Feb. 12, 1925. She passed away Oct. 22, 2020 at the age of 95 years old.
For the past three months she had resided at Parklane Care and Rehab Center in Wentzville, Missouri. She lived in rural Poplar Bluff for the last 60 years. She was married to Charles Snider from 1952 to 1963. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Surviving are one brother and sister-in-law, Meffort and Norma Tolbert of O’Fallon, Missouri; two nieces: Rhonda Tolbert of O’Fallon and Vivian Moore of Poplar Bluff; one nephew: Carson Pruitt of Poplar Bluff; special loving friends: Lloyd and Margaret Fennell of Poplar Bluff, and other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother: Dale Tolbert; two sisters: Frona Pruitt and Cleta Rickert; one niece: LaVaughn Stout; and one nephew: Dwain Pruitt.
Due to the COVID pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk. The memorial service announcement will be made at a later date in the Daily American Republic.
