McGee, 21, of Wappapello was arrested at 1:13 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) and possession of marijuana and two Butler County warrants for no proof of insurance and possession of marijuana. Aaron B. Rohan, 44, of Puxico was arrested at 4:18 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, on a Stoddard County failure to appear warrant for possession of a controlled substance, a Dunklin County failure to appear warrant for possession of a controlled substance, an Advance municipal failure to appear warrant for a traffic violation and on suspicion of no valid license, possession of a controlled substance, no proof of insurance and failure to display a valid plate on a motor vehicle. He was booked at the Wayne County Jail.

Preston C. Earls, 22, of Cape Girardeau was arrested at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, on a Stoddard County warrant for burglary and a Poplar Bluff municipal failure to appear warrant for no insurance. He was booked at the Cape Girardeau County Jail.

Two area women were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 3:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, on Highway T, two miles north of Oxly.

According to the report, Rhonda F. Baker, 61, of Gideon was operating a 2015 Dodge Caravan when it backed into the path of a 2004 Ford Explorer being driven northbound by Tetyana Dittman, 56, of Oxly.

Both drivers suffered minor injuries and were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 23-year-old Oran woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, on Highway 25, one mile south of Dutchtown.

According to the report, Madison S. Pettit was operating a 2009 Chevrolet Malibu northbound when it struck the rear of a 2010 Chrysler Town and Country van being operated by Elizabeth A. Greenlee, 40, of Advance.

Pettit suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

Dylan Michael Merritt, 28, of the 3100 block of Highway 53 was booked at the Butler County jail Monday, Oct. 19, on a warrant for non-support.

Merl Dwayne Morgan, 53, of the 1500 block of County Road 553 was booked at the Butler County jail Saturday, Oct. 17, on a Wayne County warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Don Lee Harris reported Oct. 9 that unknown person(s) had entered his residence on County Road 553 and stolen 11 pistols and six long guns.

Victor Leslie Bagwell Sr. of the 1400 block of Highway 53 reported Friday, Oct. 16, that the trim panels and heating/air conditioning control head had been stolen off of his 2005 Dodge pickup.

Eric James Hover of Harviell reported his residence in the 1100 block of County Road 360 had been forcibly entered between 1 and 9 p.m. Oct. 12.

According to the report, three rifles, two handguns, three shotguns, binoculars and a spotting scope were stolen.

Stephanie Lynn Welsh, 34, of the 4200 block of Township Line Road was arrested at 1:53 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, at her residence on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and three Butler County warrants for traffic offense. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Adam Troy Waltman, 55, of the 100 block of Red Robin Lane was arrested at 1:22 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Cravens on two municipal failure to appear warrants for no insurance and two Butler County failure to appear warrants for possession of a controlled substance and failure to register as a sex offender. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Elvis R. Reed Jr., 50, of Wappapello was arrested at 10:05 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, in the 1900 block of South Broadway on two Butler County warrants for no valid license. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Travis Mitchell Bond, 36, of Qulin was arrested at 9:20 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at the intersection of Velma and South 11th streets on a Moniteau County failure to appear warrant for traffic and four municipal failure to appear warrants for two counts of no insurance, DWI and possession of a drug paraphernalia. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Two Poplar Bluff men were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 10:52 a.m. Oct. 13 at the intersection of Westwood Boulevard and Highway 53.

According to the report, Alan Dale Ursery, 58, of the 800 block of North Fifth Street was operating a northbound 2008 Toyota pickup, which was stopped at the stop light in the inside lane of Westwood Boulevard.

At the same time, Steven Lee Honomichl, 63, of the 3100 block of South Westwood Boulevard was operating a 2007 Ford Mustang northbound behind Ursery’s truck and allegedly struck it.

Ursery reported to officers he was just sitting there when he saw Honomichl’s car coming up fast before slamming into his truck.

Honomichl told officers he was on his way to Hardee’s to get breakfast before it stopped serving breakfast and was going too fast to stop in time.

A witness reported she was behind Honomichl’s car, and she estimated he was traveling at 60 mph and never hit the brakes before striking Ursery’s truck.

Both drivers were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment. Ursery later was flown to a Cape Girardeau hospital for further treatment due to the severity of his injuries.

MALDEN — Stacy J. Lee, 46, of Malden was arrested Saturday, Oct. 17, on a Stoddard County warrant for probation violation and a New Madrid County warrant for domestic assault. He was booked at the Malden City Jail and released to Stoddard County authorities.
