Monte Silman

ELLSINORE — Monte Gayle Silman, son of the late Cleatus Gayle Silman and Betty Jean (Robbins) Silman, was born Nov. 28, 1956, in Marston, Missouri, and departed this life on Oct. 16, 2020 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He had attained the age of 63 years, 10 months and 18 days.

Monte had resided in Ellsinore, Missouri, for most of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. Monte was a great man, who was very loving, always smiling and loved to talk.

He is survived by his son, Jeremy Silman and wife Jennifer of Ellsinore; his two daughters, Tracey Raymer and Tim Tanksley of Ellsinore and Christie Owens and husband Billy of Ellsinore; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one on the way, and many relatives and friends who mourn his passing.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
