Employees of Henderson Auto Sales in the 200 block of South Westwood Boulevard reported at 4:14 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, that a Keystone camper had been stolen from the business’ second lot in the 4400 block of Highway PP sometime between Sept. 25 and 28.

Basil Foster reported at 10:41 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, that he was shot at by an unknown male as he left a residence the night before along Roxie Road.

Employees of the Dollar General Store at Qulin reported at 6:29 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, the theft of a cellphone and a block of cheese.

According to the report, a man had taken two cellphones out of a case, but only attempted to purchase one. When asked to empty his pockets, he did not fully do so and left the business.

Employees of Poplar Bluff Auto Auction in the 3000 block of Highway B reported at 8:39 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, that catalytic converters had been cut off eight different vehicles on the lot during the previous night and were stolen.

Danner McCauley reported at midnight Friday, Oct. 2, that a section of chain-link fencing had been cut and damaged at D&G Auto in the 200 block of East Outer Road in an attempt to gain entry. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Employees of TAG Truck Center in the 3700 block of Highway 67 North reported at 11:02 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, that three service vehicles had been damaged. A 2005 Chevrolet Silverado had a hole cut in the grill and the hood latch damaged. A 1997 Ford F-250 had its gear selector removed and ignition punched out. A 2007 Freightliner Sprinter utility truck had damage to the driver’s side door lock and handle, the dash and trim panels had been removed, the ignition switch had been removed and ignition wiring had been tampered with.

Blake Poynor reported at 7:19 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, that the two rear tires on his Ford E350 service vehicle, owned by Comfort Masters, were cut and flattened during the night while he was camping at The Camp in the 1500 block of University Forest Drive at Wappapello.

Vickie Shands of the 3100 block of Highway 51 in Fisk reported at 10:04 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, that a bedroom window to her residence had been tampered with in an apparent attempt to gain entry. The window was damaged, and a screen was missing.

Shelly L. Smith, 49, was arrested at 8:40 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, at in the 900 block of Benton on a failure to appear warrants for possession of a controlled substance and second-degree burglary and on suspicion of hindering prosecution. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Beckham, 43, of the 1100 block of Cole was arrested at 3:57 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, on Windwood Drive on a warrant for parole violation and suspicion of resisting arrest, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of amphetamine, financial responsibly required and failure to register a motor vehicle/ trailer. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Tyler Money, an employee of CJ Slyer Garage, reported at 11:18 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, that as he was making a left turn off Pine Street onto Ninth Street, a red pickup truck hit his two truck and fled the scene.

Sandra Herzog of McCoy’s Scrap Processing in the 600 block of South 6th Street reported at 12:23 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, that at around 7 a.m. a silver car with a male and female occupant had destroyed the side of a metal building to gain access and stole six catalytic converters.

DEXTER POLICE DEPARTMENT

DEXTER — John Leedom Jr., 44, of Bloomfield was arrested at 11:05 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, on a failure to appear warrant.

DEXTER — Cristy Dixon, 50, of Dexter was arrested at 10:11 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, on suspicion of failing to drive on the right half of the road and resisting arrest.

DEXTER — Tamra Bostic, 50, of Dexter was arrested at 8:34 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, on a failure to appear warrant.

DEXTER — Jerri Greenlee, 31, of Puxico was arrested at 10:11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, on a failure to appear warrant.

MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL

Three people suffered minor to moderate injuries at 7:55 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, when the 2020 Polaris they were in overturned while making a tight-radius turn on Highway 67, five miles north of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, the vehicle had four occupants. Kaylie Sutton, 22, of Jackson suffered moderate injuries, while driver Clinton Hendershott of Jackson and Kelly Sutton of Jackson suffered minor injuries. All three were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment. The fourth person was uninjured.

One person suffered minor injuries in an accident at 12:41 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, on the South Outer Road, one mile east of Fisk.

According to the report, Teresa Pigg of Wappapello was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado when it ran off the roadway. Both Pigg and her passenger, Sherry Pigg, also of Wappapello, were taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

One person suffered minor injuries in an accident at 3:22 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, on Highway 67, two miles south of Poplar Bluff.

According to the report, a 2000 Ford F150 driven by Bobby Pankey of West Plains slowed to check on a stranded motorist. A 2002 Ford focus, driven by Elizah Conway of Corning, Arkansas, swerved and allegedly struck Pankey’s vehicle in the rear. A juvenile female in Pankey’s car was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries.

One person was injured when the 2018 Chevrolet Silverado they were driving ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree at 10:40 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, on Highway M, three miles west of Poplar Bluff. Larissa hays, 26, of Poplar Bluff was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment of her injuries.

Lorin K. Shelton, 31, of Williamsville was arrested at 10:09 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, on suspicion of DWI, failure to register a motor vehicle and no seat belt. She was booked at the Butler County jail.
