CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Saint Francis Foundation hosted their second annual Color Dash 5K and Fun Walk on Saturday, October 3, 2020, at A.C. Brase Arena Park. The turnout for the 5K and one mile fun walk included 154 participants and 50 volunteers. More than $12,000 was raised this year to provide free cancer screenings to individuals in need throughout our community.
The overall female winner was Miah Gilmore. The overall male winner was Tyler Johannes. The overall survivor female winner was Jo Ann Sester. The overall survivor male winner was James West.
The results of the 18 and under category were: Keera Newcomer in first place, Kyleigh Haynes in second place and Lilly Best in third place. For the 19-30 category, Stosh Lovett won first place, Hannah Kroencke won second place and Katie Mathis won third place. In the 31-40 category, Andrew Mothershead won first place, Melanie Cowell won second place and Travis Stueve won third place. In the 41-59 category, Roger Ellinger won first place, Paul Varner won second place and Leslie Lochmann won third place. In the 60 and over category, Mitch Gerber won first place, James West won second place and Jo Ann Sester won third place.
