A 56-year-old Ellington woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 7 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, on Highway 21, fives miles north of Ellington.

According to the report, Edward E. Coleman, 30, of Salem was operating a 2012 Buick Enclave southbound when he suffered a medical issue, which caused his car to run off the right side of the road and strike two trees.

Coleman’s passenger, Karen R. Reese, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 28-year-old Corning, Ark., man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, on U.S. 67, three miles south of Harviell.

According to the report, Billy L. Russell was operating a 2001 Dodge pickup southbound when it ran off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and overturned.

Russell suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Arkansas Methodist Medical Center for treatment.

David Wayne Fletcher, 31, of the 600 block of Bearden was booked at the Butler County jail Thursday, Oct. 1, on suspicion of second-degree property damage and stealing and a warrant for stealing.

Martin Wayne Hicks, 55, of the 3200 block of County Road 628 was booked at the Butler County jail Thursday, Oct. 1, on a failure to appear warrant for first-degree tampering with a motor-vehicle.

Clayton Wayne Holliday, 24, of the 1100 block of Main Street was booked at the Butler County jail Thursday, Oct. 1, on a failure to appear warrant for first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.

Breanna Jeaena Ellis, 25, of the 400 block of Karen Drive was arrested at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the intersection of Henry Street and Highway WW on a municipal failure to appear warrant for larceny and a Butler County warrant for endangering the welfare of a child. She was booked at the Butler County jail.

Lonnie Johnson, 57, of the 300 block of East Neat Street was arrested at 2:14 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at the intersection of Ninth and Cherry streets on a Butler County warrant for first-degree assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

BLOOMFIELD — Jacob Kenneth Lunderman, 27, of Bloomfield was booked at the Stoddard County Jail on a warrant for probation violation.
