MALDEN — Patricia Ellen Provance, 82 of Clarkton passed away on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2020, in Cape Girardeau.
Patricia Provance was born Sept. 5, 1938, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late William Francis Aspenwall and Margaret Christine Entwistle Aspenwall.
Mrs. Provance was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed many hobbies and was a very talented artist, crafter and seamstress. On Nov. 10, 1956, in Pontiac, Michigan, she was united in marriage to Charles Kenneth Provance Sr. He preceded her in death on Monday, July 21, 2008.
Her survivors include, daughter, Elizabeth Love and husband, Shawn of Springfield, Missouri; son, Charles Kenneth Provance Jr. and wife, Pat of Clarkton, Missouri; son-in-law, Steve Cook of Malden; eight grandchildren, Kevin Cook, Whitney Smith, Lacey Slagle, Benjamin Provance, Erin Rains, Colton Cook, Jackson Rains and Zachary Provance; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy King of Howell, Michigan and Linda Haveman and husband, Joe of Canal Fulton, Ohio; brother, Bill Aspenwall of White Lake, Michigan and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughter, Debby Cook and brother, Dewayne Aspenwall.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, at the First General Baptist Church in Malden with Reverend Stewart-Allen Clark officiating.
Interment will be in the Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton.
