A 25-year-old Wappapello man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 11:15 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, on Highway J, one mile south of Cobb, in Stoddard County.

According to the report, Cory D. Messer was operating a 2003 GMC Yukon eastbound when it ran off the right side of the road. Messer reportedly overcorrected, which caused his vehicle to then run off the left side of the road and overturn.

Messer suffered moderate injuries and was taken by private vehicle to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 33-year-old Mill Spring man was injured in an all-terrain-vehicle crash at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on County Road 444, three miles south of Mill Spring.

According to the report, Robby L. Mosby was operating a 2018 Can-Am ATV southbound when it ran off the road and overturned.

Mosby, who was ejected, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 24-year-old Marble Hill man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 3:50 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on Highway 34, four miles east of Silva.

According to the report, Jonathan C. Hancock was operating a 2007 Hyundai Odyssey eastbound when it ran off the road and struck a tree.

Hancock suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

Hancock was arrested at 4:19 p.m. on suspicion of DWI and no seat belt. He was released.

A 64-year-old Poplar Bluff woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 9:40 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, on U.S. 60 at Morehouse.

According to the report, Jack Eubanks, 77, of Sikeston was operating a 2006 Ford pickup southbound when it pulled into the path of a 2019 Mazda being driven eastbound by Gary H. Cates, 65, of Poplar Bluff.

Cates’ vehicle allegedly struck Eubanks’ pickup in the side and then overturned in the road.

Cates’ passenger, Mary E. Cates, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

A 39-year-old Cape Girardeau man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, on Highway E, one-half mile west of Lowndes.

According to the report, Aaron L. Ragan was operating a 2011 Buick Lucerne westbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2014 Ford pickup being operated by David A. Helm, 36, of Greenville.

Ragan was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.

King, 51, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, on a Poplar Bluff municipal warrant for assault and on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance (Hydrocodone), driving while revoked and speeding. He was booked at the New Madrid County Sheriff’s Department.
