A 63-year-old Puxico woman was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:24 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, on Highway 51 at County Road 254.

According to the report, a 16-year-old Puxico resident was operating a 2017 Jeep Wrangler westbound when it failed to yield to a 2002 Ford Mustang being driven northbound by Nellie N. Greenlee.

Greenlee’s car allegedly struck the front of the Jeep and then ran off the road.

Greenlee was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The teenage driver suffered minor injuries and was taken by private vehicle to SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County at Dexter for treatment.
