Lisa Blackman, 57, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away Aug. 18, 2020, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Lisa was born on Nov. 10, 1962, to Haywood and Victoria Harris in Poplar Bluff. She and Charley Blackman Jr. were married Sept. 19, 1992.

Lisa was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church of Poplar Bluff. She was baptized July of 2017. Lisa was a longtime employee of the former Lucy Lee Hospital and retired from Poplar Bluff Pediatrics.

Lisa had a sincere love for decorating and arts and crafts. Whether it was a decorating a house or helping decorate for baby showers, weddings and more, Lisa was there to help. She also enjoyed listening and dancing to music. Those who knew Lisa knew she loved feeding the fish. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her devoted and loving husband, Lisa is survived by a two sons, Bradley (Rebecca) Blackman of Fredericktown and Carlos Williams of Poplar Bluff; a daughter, Victoria (Tori) Blackman of Poplar Bluff ; five grandchildren; five siblings, Alan Johnson of Poplar Bluff, Jeannie Mack of Poplar Bluff, DaRonda (Tommy) Robinson of Poplar Bluff, James (Sue) Harris of Atlanta, Georgia, and Keith Harris of Albuquerque, New Mexico; special friends, Cetanya Hayes and Revia Wade; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews and friends.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2020, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., with funeral services to follow at 1 p.m. at Cotrell Chapel with Rev. Tommy Robinson of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will take place at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery immediately following services.
