Two Ripley County residents were injured in a one-vehicle crash at 11:55 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, on Highway 142, seven miles west of Doniphan.

According to the report, Hayley N. Langley, 19, of Doniphan was operating a 2013 Chevrolet pickup eastbound when it ran off the right side of the road. Langley reportedly lost control of her truck, which then ran off the left side of the road and overturned.

Langley suffered moderate injuries, while her 19-year-old passenger, Garett R. Massey of Gatewood, suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT

Willie Eddie Blackmon, 46, of the 500 block of Bartlett Street was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, Aug. 19, on suspicion of fourth-degree domestic assault and a warrant for passing a bad check.

Jack Clay Dotson, 60, of the 2300 block of Pike was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday on a Cole County failure to appear warrant for passing a bad check. He was released on bond.

Basil Wayne Foster, 44, of Ellsinore was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance. He was released on bond.

Karissa Nicole Reed, 29, of the 1800 block of 11th Street was booked at the Butler County jail Wednesday, Aug. 19, on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Timothy Earl Hollinger of the 100 block of County 4706 reported Tuesday, Aug. 18, that his shed was forcibly entered an a wrench set and fuel container were stolen.

According to the report, Hollinger’s lawn mower was found at the edge of his property.

Brenda Sue Worley of Poplar Bluff reported Tuesday, Aug. 18, that her storage unit at John’s Mini Mart in the 600 block of Highway 142 was forcibly entered sometime since Aug. 10.

According to the report, a Remington 12-gauge shotgun and a .22-caliber semiautomatic rifle were stolen.

Rick W. Robertson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, reported Tuesday, Aug. 18, that his shop in the 900 block of County Road 249 at Qulin had been forcibly entered and a 2017 Polaris all-terrain vehicle was stolen.

POPLAR BLUFF POLICE DEPARTMENT

Tamal Deandre McMorris, 25, of the 200 block of Berkshire was arrested at 3:40 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, in the 600 block of Cedar Street on a Butler County warrant for first-degree domestic assault. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

Terry Lee Mitchell, 54, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 6:59 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, on Peach Street on four Butler County warrants for two counts of no insurance and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. He was booked at the Butler County jail.

BLOOMFIELD — Bradley Mitchell, 28, of Dudley was booked at the Stoddard County Jail on a warrant for probation/parole violation.
