MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL
A 31-year-old Poplar Bluff man was injured in a one-vehicle crash at 7:10 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, on U.S. 160, three miles west of Doniphan.
According to the report, Dewaine J. Wilmot was operating a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe westbound when it ran off the left side of the road and struck a tree.
Wilmot suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.

A 51-year-old Marble Hill woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 12:03 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, on Highway B, two miles east of Poplar Bluff.
According to the report, Sandra K. Alvarado was operating a westbound 2001 Chevrolet pickup, which was attempting to pass a 1996 Dodge pickup as it was making a left turn.
Alvarado suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center for treatment.
The other driver, Scottie W. Hunt, 35, of Poplar Bluff was not injured in the crash.

A 60-year-old Charleston man was seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash at 8:35 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 12, on U.S. 62, two miles east of Bertrand.
According to the report, George A. Doolin, 27, of Dexter was operating a 2008 Ford pickup eastbound when it crossed the center line and struck a 2005 Ford Taurus head on.
The driver of the Ford, Larry J. Bone, 67, of East Prairie, was not injured, but his passenger, Michael A. Vinson, was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment.

A 20-year-old Koshkonong, Missouri, man was killed in a two-vehicle crash at 8:25 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 13, on Highway Z at Highway ZZ in Scott County.
According to the report, Michael S. Dossett, 30, of Sikeston was operating a 2013 Chevrolet pickup westbound when it struck a 2000 Ford Ranger being driven northbound by Christopher C. Russell, 26, of Koshkonong.
Christopher Russell’s truck reportedly overturned, ejecting both Christopher Russell and his passenger, Sebastian A. Russell, and then caught fire.
Sebastian Russell was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:26 a.m. by Scott County Coroner Scott Amick.
Christopher Russell and Dossett suffered serious injuries.
Christopher Russell was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau for treatment, while Dossett was flown to Regional One Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee, for treatment.

Long, 38, of Austin, Texas, was arrested at 5:54 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, on two St. Charles County warrants for speeding, a Wayne County failure to appear warrant for a traffic violation and on suspicion of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was booked at the Butler County jail and released on bond.

Thomas L. Davis, 49, of Poplar Bluff was arrested at 8:03 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, in Butler County on suspicion of fleeing, resisting arrest and assault on a law enforcement officer. He was released to medical personnel.

Camden, 32, of Wappapello was arrested at 7:58 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 15, on suspicion of driving while suspended, possession of fewer than 35 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to register a motor vehicle and no insurance and three Poplar Bluff municipal failure to appear warrants for driving while suspended, no insurance and a non-moving traffic violation. He was booked at the Butler County jail.
