Tommy Shackleford

Tommy Shackleford, 61, of Poplar Bluff, passed away Aug. 14, 2020 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

Tommy was born on Jan. 3, 1959 to the late Walter and Pauline Louise (Shamblin) Shackleford in St. Louis, Mo. He married Betty Jo Shackleford but she preceded him in death.

Tommy attended Highland Drive Church of Christ. He worked for the Poplar Bluff Junior High School for 31 years. He enjoyed working the Mules basketball and football games as well as being a Three Rivers College basketball fan, St. Louis Cardinal baseball and Kentucky State basketball. He also enjoyed helping people and working the parades with his brother-in-law, Hardy Billington.

Tommy is survived by his fiance, Pam Kenser; daughters, Sue Allen and Sarah Johnson; grandchild, Chris Johnson, grandchild, Evee Allen; sister, Anetta Kinworthy; sister, Delores McCrum; brother, Benny Shackleford; sister, Rose Young; sister, Dianne Billington and husband ,Hardy.

Tommy was preceded in death by wife, Betty Jo Shackleford; parents and a sister; Charlotte Phillips.

Visitation will be held from noon - 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2020 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff, Mo. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, in the Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home chapel with Archie Parrish officiating. Burial will take place at Berrong Cemetery in Zalma, Mo.
