Mattie Bell Aldridge, 94, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020 at Westwood Hills Care Center in Poplar Bluff.
Mattie was born March 1, 1926 to Tom and Leona Hendrickson Kearbey in Poplar Bluff. She and Raymond Aldridge were married July 8, 1944 in Corning, Arkansas.
Mattie enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her family and friends. She had a sincere love for the Lord and was a former member of the South Poplar Bluff General Baptist Church.
Mattie is survived by two sons, Garry Aldridge of Williamsville, Kenneth Aldridge of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren, Tracy Peters of Puxico, Kenneth Aldridge Jr. and Tammy (Douglas) Ham, both of Poplar Bluff, and Christina (John) Kirby of Springfield; five great-grandchildren, Nocona Sanders of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Marissa Peters, Eli Peters and Kylee Peters, all of Puxico, Lane (Blace) Dabbs of Poplar Bluff, and Cami Dabbs of Fisk; and three great-great- grandchildren, Tegan Dabbs and Calder Dabbs, both of Poplar Bluff, and Roselynn Crowley of Fisk.
Also surviving a sister, Barbara (Chet) Beaty of Poplar Bluff, and a brother, Richard Kearbey of Poplar Bluff.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mattie is preceded by one daughter-in-law, Carol Aldridge; a sister, Mildred Dell; and two brothers, Jimmie and Tommy Kearbey.
A private graveside service will be held.
