Truman Eugene Ward, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. passed away Aug. 10, 2020 at his home.

Truman was born Sept. 30, 1934 to the late Eddie and Pearl Marie (Neal) Ward in Caruthersville, Missouri. He married the love of his life for over 40 years, Barbara (Sheridan) Ward Sept. 2, 1995, in Virginia City.

Truman was an over-the-road truck driver for over 40 years. He was a Mason for over 63 years, a member of the Eagles Lodge # 3730 for 40 years and the American Legion.

Truman not only enjoyed his family but enjoyed playing golf. He played on many different courses in the United States.

Truman is survived by his wife, Barbara Ward; son, Truman Martin Ward; son, Roy Eugene Ward; daughter, LaDeanna Glenn; grandchildren; Jamie Holcomb, Christina Ward, Brooke Glenn, Shawna Ward, Dylan Ward; several great-grandchildren; sister, Glenda Fletcher and husband Jack.

Truman was preceded in death by his parents, several siblings and a great-grandchild Tayshon Matthews.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday Aug.12, 2020 at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Poplar Bluff. There will be a Masonic Service begin at 1 p.m. in the chapel, followed by the funeral service in the chapel with Larry Evans officiating. Burial will then follow in Antioch Cemetery in Oxly, Missouri.
