Joseph Jack Dangerfield, 27, of Fairdealing was arrested at 8:36 a.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at the Poplar Bluff Police Department on two municipal warrants for failure to appear. He was booked at Butler County jail.

__BUTLER COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE__

Christopher Michael Bishop, 48, of the 600 section of County Road 468 was booked Butler County jail Friday, Aug. 7, to serve 48 hours of shock time.

Carl Thomas Hiles, 33, of the 70th block of Slingshot Lane was booked Friday, Aug. 7, at Butler County jail to serve two days of shock time.

Jordan Jerome King, 25, of the 2500 block of High Street was booked Friday, Aug. 7, at Butler County jail on suspicion of unlawful possession of firearms by a certain person.

Kevin McKinley Nunnery, 35, of the 2000 section of Highway 67 was booked Friday, Aug. 7, at Butler County jail on a parole violation and for failure to appear on the original charge of stealing.

Brandon Scott Warmack, 26, of the 200 section of County Road 534 was booked Friday, Aug. 7, at Butler County jail on a parole violation.

__MISSOURI STATE HIGHWAY PATROL__

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at 2:19 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, on Missouri 114, at Missouri 153, in Stoddard County.

According to the report, Gregorio P. Cruz, 32, of Cape Girardeau was northbound in a 2011 Kia Sportage when he pulled into the path of an oncoming westbound 2008 Chevrolet Impala.

The Impala was driven by Terri A. Applewhite, 45, of Sikeston.

Applewhite was taken by ambulance to Missouri Delta Hospital in Sikeston with minor injuries, as was an occupant of her vehicle, Eugene Williams, 47, of Sikeston.

Maria Lope of Union City, Tennessee, a passenger in the Kia, was also taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau with moderate injuries.

A Campbell man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at 8:40 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, on County Road 214 at Missouri 51, in Butler County.

According to the report, Michael W. Weaver, 60, was westbound in a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee when his vehicle ran off the left side of the road and overturned.

Weaver was taken by ambulance to Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.

Tanner M. Wood, 20, of Dexter was arrested at 2:18 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated with a person less than 17 years old in the vehicle, driving while suspended, careless and imprudent driving and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was booked at Stoddard County Jail.

Matthew C. Gilkeson, 32, of Florence, Alabama, was arrested at 11:49 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, on suspicion of felony driving while intoxicated, failure to stop at a stop sign, speeding and failure to signal. He was processed and released.
